Due to market expansion we have an immediate need for a project manager to join our team to provide leadership, project management skills and customer service focus. The right candidate comes with a strong work ethic and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and do some heavy lifting. They must possess excellent organizational skills, be extremely detail oriented, possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and adapt quickly to new situations.

The project manager is responsible for coordinating customer implementations and assisting with internal processes.  This position plays a key role as a strong team member and focuses on goal achievement across all customers.  The project manager will report to the VP of Implementation.  He or she will hold responsibility for the following areas: 


  • Responsible for customer implementations from the end of the sales phase through go live
  • Determine scope of project/program with the sales team to ensure on-time delivery and meet the customer’s expectations
  • Develop and monitor project plans with information such as project objectives/goals, deliverables and milestones
  • Work with all departments as a liaison on projects, procedures, workflows, and best practices
  • Provide reporting including performance summary and usage to customers
  • Work with necessary vendors or 3rd parties on projects where integrations or necessary development requests are needed for a successful implementation
  • Maintain active and prompt communication with customers as well as internal teams to ensure that each implementation meets & exceeds expectations
  • Potentially fulfill the account management role to provide excellent customer service for certain customers including regular status meetings to review performance and make engagement recommendations


  • Bachelor’s degree required, superior academic performance preferred
  • Minimal 3+ years of experience in project management and customer service
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must possess the communication and interpersonal skills to interact on a face to face basis, build relationships and present information in a clear, compelling manner incorporating relevant facts and concepts
  • Driven, competitive personality combined with innate creativity, a strong sense of urgency and a desire to elevate his/her career to the next level
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Use critical thinking skills to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Experience in health and wellness industry and/or project management


  • Health insurer or health and wellness vendor experience is highly-desired
  • Technical competence, particularly in delivering software and/or hardware solutions
  • Superb interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent
  • Start-up experience
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment

Travel may be required: 0-10%
